Here's an educated guess, noburgers. The WRX is currently wearing a set of P225/45R17 summer tires. That sixth tire is a Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R with a fair amount of tread remaining. The full-size spare wheel is shod with a P215/45R17 Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position tire. If the owner, whoever he or she may be, needs a full-size spare for the summer tire set or has a hypothetical Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec P225/45R17 suffer irreparable damage that has roughly the same amount of tread as the RE-01R, this person would have his or her bases covered.
