Wow, at nearly a quarter of a million dollars it can't keep up with a ZR1. What a piece of german engineering.

@zr1man: Since we're on the subject and you're definitely a Corvette guy, what are your impressions of the C7? I like it, but some of the interior/exterior visual cues throw me off a little.

Wow the comments section on this site has DIED. I think that alone speaks for itself. Something has to change, sometimes the page doesn't even load correctly on my browser and ads slide along as I scroll.

Granted, I still frequent here some, I also spend a lot of time on MT and C&D. Two places I NEVER went before the move. It's also annoying having to click a tab just to see comments, what gives? Edmunds, you always post great information, and I enjoy reading your articles regularly, but this is just awful .

On the note of this car, I find it funny that the ZR1 as well as the Viper are in the same league at a fraction of the cost. Before one could argue interior quality, but with the C7's upgrade as well as improvements in the SRT10, it really puts cars like this in a strange place. Obviously people who buy these are doing so for their own pleasure, just because they can. But there really is no simple logic, it would be a purchase based purely on aesthetic appeal or some other non-measurable factor.

For the record, if I had the dough to buy one of these, I'd take it in a heartbeat over the vette or srt. However if I had that kind of cash at my disposal I'd probably own those, too.

@meest00gt +100. Major fail IMHO. As for the car, it seems that the SLS is a leery beast that MUST be driven with the ESC on. On the UK Top Gear show Jeremy Clarkson could not keep it on the island and even the Stig looked like he had his hands full. For
