    Since I'm neither a drag racer nor a car tester, I have to ask. Is 0.1 sec and 0.5mph actually statistically significant? If repeated today, would the results hold?

    @mfennell: You're probably going to get that much difference just from different asphalt temps. So the tire pressure adjustments would probably do more for tire life under these conditions than anything else.

    I don't quite get the explanations. They seem to compare contrast between the two settings, but the references are rather oblique. The slalom thoughts in particular are hard to follow. Are you saying the 31/39 combo was less stable or the 31/34?

    @ banderdanny: I'm saying the 31/34 setup was, as you put it, "less stable." If you look at the combo of skidpad and slalom comments, it'll make more sense. The rear was looser, hence the better tail-out skidpad number and slightly slower more-d

    you are absolutely correct...i lowered to comfort settings and presto, the car is c o m f o r t a b l e.
