    It's important that consumers avoid curbstoners. They not only have no recourse should there be fraud or mechanical issues, typically taxes and fees are not paid. What I find amazing is that you weren't taken in by the curbstoners and Internet scams, but somehow you believe a 16-year-old car with 135,000 miles (fewer than 8,500 miles a year) is a vehicle a typical buy here-pay here customer could 1. find and 2. cover what is turning out to be very high repair costs!
