    1) There are no races nor tracks actually planned. Saying you want to race in some city center is one thing, doing it, needless to say is another.
    2) While Tesla is boldly solving the recharging issue, Formula E will require drivers to actually switch cars mid-race due to range issues. I can think of nothing that would turn off potential EV buyers more than that sight. Good thing there won't be any actual races for them to see.
