    The official VW website lists the price of the fender turbo beetle at $28.130, plus about $800 in destination charges.
    I contacted my local Texas dealership, and they told me there would be a "market adjustment" additional price of $2500.
    I think this is completely bogus. This isn't supposed to be E-Bay.
    If VW dealers are allowed to gouge for this car, it reflects very poorly on the brand.
    Buyer beware.

    My 2013 turbo beetle fender has 22,000 miles and they just told me they have to replace the oil tray because it has shredded? And that's why I was losing oil? cost 400$. Any thoughts from anyone? Why should this happen?
