Just went to car; radio was on BBC World Service on Sirius. Dots not dancing. Put on NPR Now, same. Put on BPM, still no dancing dots. Tried Jazz Standards, 20 on 20. Still no dancing. Started up a Twisted Dee CD, no dancing. Put on FM Top 40 station, no dancing. It finally switched over to its HD signal, no dancing. Put on that station's HD sub-channel, also Top 40 but older stuff, no dancing. Put on standard broadcast Urban FM station, no dancing. Tried much weaker signal Top 40 station out of Charlotte, no dancing. Tried local NPR station, no dancing.

banhugh's link worked for me; close up I saw some movement. I'm thinking maybe it's just you.

Also the scan rate of the video camera you used could have something to do with it

After thinking about this for a bit, I remembered that in the Cadenza I rented before buying that on a trip to Asheville, at one point it did seem that the dots were dancing. I knew that trip was at night and in the video it seems to be night. So I just now tried again (00:14 EST). The dots this time did indeed dance. Turning the screen to full brightness made them dance even more. Turning on the interior lights made them stop. So they do create an optical illusion at night.

Yes, they were clearly moving, relative to the text.
