    also (usually) enough ground clearence to not have to worry about curbs and speedbumps. as a lot of cars and hatchbacks get lower and lower to the ground you can really apretiate not scrapping your front bumper off all around town.

    Actually I love Crossovers, and that's because they're the right tool for the job people seem to designate to large SUVs. They have more space, more seats, that higher seating position that everybody loves, but with the exclusion of the beefier frame, bigger engine, tow rating, and ground clearance. The result is what most people actually want, a large, more efficient vehicle with better road manners.

    I can't really think of any job this vehicle can do that an AWD Sienna could not do. And I can think of quite a few that the Sienna could do better - it could carry that chest with only one of the rear seats folded down. You could still have 5 people in it.

    Still don't see the benefit of a crossover, compared to a wagon or minivan. Can't really take it off-road, so what's the point? A minivan or wagon can do
    what a crossover can do just as well, if not better. Seems to me the only justification is image, and if that's important to you that's OK.
