    I think this is a good list but I am shocked to see the Ford Fiesta there. Only if the family is a minimum of 2 people then I can see it being on the list.

    I do know that Edmunds and Parents Magazine are owned by the same company where advertising by auto manufacturers pay salaries and may possibly influence recommendations and editorial content - but the Nissan Altima should be up there, and should the Nissan Murano, which is a spectacular cross over, and the least expensive car to insure. What's up Edmunds?
