    Great article...It is on the money. If as a customer you can afford and once you've narrowed it down to two vehicles rent the two vehicles for a weekend apiece. Weekend rates are lower than daily. It also gives you an advantage since test drives are usually short and you now have this vehicle all weekend to really see how it performs after it's broken in. Sometimes dealers will loan you the vehicle overnight but that just isn't enough time. There is the no pressure factor of no salesperson sitting in back, either. Consider the rental and it might surprise you.
