Proof That EVs Don't Have To Be Ugly??? The 500 is already fairly cheap and useless for anything beyond an urban car. An EV model makes sense for what it is. And when you find a good looking 500, let me know.

What really separates this Fiat from the crowd is that its itty bitty. Yet despite its tiny size- much smaller than a Leaf- its not so efficient. Woop dee doo.

I'm sorry but Fiats look like funny little clown cars and they are very weird.

Here's a thought on range anxiety: push the range about 50% higher and suddenly it becomes a reasonable commuter car for a lot of people. With an estimated range of 130 you could drive, say, 100 miles without getting anxious. That's enough for a 60 mile roundtrip office commute plus a few errands. Recharge it overnight. Yeah, you'd still want a car with an ICE for long trips, but lots of families today have two (or more) cars. I know mine would definitely consider an affordable electric with adequate range as a daily driver. And upping the estimated range to 130 miles from the 85-ish we're seeing in a smattering of econocars today isn't hard to imagine. The Tesla, though it's in a different segment, is already well past that.
