The widebody kit on the Ford Focus ST is very, very nice. I'd like to see that on the Fiesta ST!

Am I the only one who doesn't really get the point of SEMA? Basically, you have manufacturers saying "This is what some of our current cars look like with big chrome wheels, wacky wings, a garish paint job, and a turbo kit." Couldn't you just accomplish the same thing with some photoshop?

The Camaro is the exception to what I previously said, because those are actual accessories you can actually buy without voiding your warranty, blowing your engine, ruining your ride, and making your car look like a Fast and Furious writer's fever dream.

@stovt001: I agree, in that for me, SEMA is a little too over the top and focused on cosmetic accessories. However, I have noticed that you can find some real fabrication gems if you look hard enough. I've also noticed that I do plenty that others might f

Yeah I get the tuner shop thing. SEMA is obviously a great venue to show off what they can do. My criticism was mostly leveled at the OEM manufacturers who send "concept cars" to SEMA which more often than not are just a run-of-the-mill production car with a fancy paint job and cosmetic accessories that often aren't even available from the manufacturer.

Dear Edmunds,
Did you not see the Pagani, KTM X-Bow, or the LS3 in an S2000? There was a wide body Fiesta there, in Eneos booth. I'm guessing this Edmunds journalist partied too hard during the week in Vegas. ;-)
