    The dash clock is set manually, isn't it? If so, it will likely drift away from the satellite-derived time on the nav.

    I wouldn't expect nav speed limits to be omnicient. Posted limits rule.

    how is the nav software updated and how much does it cost? The speed limit will show wrong until the software gets updated.

    I'm shocked, *shocked!* that west LA would arbitrarily lower speed limits to collect more revenue.

    @stovt001: So glad I was not drinking coffee when i read your comment. There are a couple of roads here where the speed limit goes up and down for no good reason causing bafflement and fines.

    This is why I'm against car manufacturers using static databases for info like this, it could really get someone in trouble. BMW's system uses a camera to search for speed limit signs as you pass them and then display the data on your screen, a much better way of doing things it seems.
