    I just recently purchased by first home and now I find myself in dire need of a pickup truck. I cannot wait to get my hands on one of these in the next couple of months. I have been reading the reviews on various pickups and recently gave your 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 long term test a read (the entire intro through wrap up) and I am sold on Ram. I specially look forward to reading about the Diesel in this pickup. I intend to purchase later this year, hopefully this long term road test goes well!

    i want a base model 2wd crew cab pickup truck with a v6 engine i'm having a hard time deciding between the ram and the GMC the GMC is priced right and has what seems to me like a stronger engine (3/4 of a 350CI v8 with direct injection)but the RAM has the 8 speed auto and the air suspension. Very tough call for me.

    after lookng into it it looks like you can't get the air suspension with any of the v6 gas engines on the ram HMMMM

    @bassrockerx Don't waste your money buying new if that is what you want. Save a boat load and by a city truck or other fleet truck. They usually have exactly the config you are looking for. -------------- Has Dodge fixed the rear end sag in these trucks w
