And there we have it - the BRZ has more room for a child's seat than a 911. I can always brings this up when a 911 owner points out the power deficit in the Subie sports car. Not that I was cross-shopping the two...

it depends on the car seat. Porsche makes a seat that fits very tightly and has less height/width to better deal with the rear seats. Also, the Cabrio rear seats are quite a bit smaller than the Coupe as well.

It takes spefici seats, but it is certainly possible to fit child seats. The LATCH anchors were a big deal for me. ;)

I have a Safety 1st Air Complete Air in the back of my 997.2 coupe (after much research) and it fit's pretty well. It has a small base, lateral head protection and is not expensive. Have to use the seat belt. And there is are top tethers behind each back seat that can be exposed by cutting perforated areas behind the seat. It fits in my wife's current get TT coupe better because it has the LATCH system and a top tether. Probably fits the 991 coupe just as well!
