Should suit the car well. Also, yes diesel is more expensive, but you guys have the wrong comparison. You should be comparing diesel to premium (which is recommended for every A4). According to you source, AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report, diesel is $4.08 versus $4.02 for premium. So an A4 owner would pay $0.06 more a gallon versus your $0.38, even at mid-grade the difference is considerable. This puts it in a new perspective huh?

You read my mind. Every article I've read that compares a diesel to a gas model uses the price of regular gas for a baseline when virtually every model that offers a diesel option (i.e., German manufacturer) requires premium gas on their standard engines.

Why bother bringing up the price differential between diesel and regular unleaded? Audi requires premium unleaded for its cars, and the price differential between diesel and premium unleaded is insignificant.

Great idea. Especially if you also get the option of quattro to go with the diesel engine.
