    Massive wheel gap persists

    pure speculation about the wheel gap. One cannot possibly tell from this photo. What you can see are super aggressive pilot sport cup tires, model-specific wheels, and a glimpse of a carbon fiber wheel shroud over the fender. Interestingly enough, there seems to be a break in the linearity of the carbon fiber side skirt. Perhaps it tapers in toward the rocker panel, like the 2 Chevy Corvette concept cars from SEMA?

    The pictures of the supposed Z06 testing in Northern AZ showed huge fender gaps in front because the fenders had actually been cut back. Maybe they were base model stingray front fenders that were cut to allow those huge front tires and avoid rub? Front grill/opening will be a dynamic design change from base model, based on spy photos. I'll be interested to see if rear diffuzers are added to the lower rear end of the car.
