    it sucks that the z71 went from the best off road truck to the worst off road truck. At least the tahoe is still a billygoat but it is sad that GM is not even on the radar for offroaders anymore.

    Who said the Z71 was the worst off road truck? And I bet that front air deflector is removable for off road driving.

    The rubber air deflectors could easily be removed with common hand tools. The approach angle would improve a bit, but there'd be a small fuel economy penalty.
