"..big, bad top trim Laramie with four-wheel drive."

So, typical Edmunds LT car trim then.

While I'm sure you guys probably didn't want to use a competitor's project, but I just ran a TrueCar on your set-up, and using a zip code near Newark, I got a TrueCar price of ~44,600 (including the $2.5k incentive). Looks like you guys paid a bit more than you should've.

Looking forward to hearing your take on this vehicle though. It's one I'd think about buying.

What sort of rear suspension does this thing have? Is it still the same coils from the 08 Ram?

glad to see you guys are getting more trucks and im glad the ram is getting a test because it is currently my favorite truck on the market this just is not how i would spec mine. I would want the 2wd Black express special edition package, with the v6 and air suspension and the shortest axle ratio. Does this new commenting system at least fix the lack of a comments button on your LT intro page? Really I would think by now someone would have fixed the template you guys use.

@Edmunds-- You didn't say here or in the full review what the rated fuel economy is. The EPA site reports 19/27 (22 combined) for this model. Is that what's on your window sticker? Either way, averaging low 20s overall for a fullsize pickup is great. I ca

One thing I think that Edmund's should regularly do is compare the price of purchase and fuel cost of this truck vs. the Chevy. Although this Dodge is an excellent truck and has much better economy, I wonder how long it would take to break even.
