Leading the caption and story with the manual transmission figures? Given the very low take rate of MT's, I fail to see how this serves your hurried readers. Or was that the point, to confuse?

Folks, the 2014 Mazda 6 is rated 26/38 for 90%+ of the purchasing public. Much, much better than the Fusion.

The Altima does not have a six speed automatic, as stated in the article. It uses a CVT.

I would guess that the new 6 with the manual transmission will only be available in the lowest trim level and will come only in black exterior and interior. That seems to be the norm now, what with Honda following through with the black only Accord manuals. Only the new Fusion gives you a stick with all the amenities and colors. (In the below-lux cars)
