GT500 has 15psi boost in an engine that can NEVER be rebuilt
15 psi but only makes 662hp!
ZL1 uses 7psi boost but with performance package boost is raised to 15psi & makes 790hp
yes with 15psi ZL1 makes 790hp
Pushrods engines, are lighter even with more displacement, with low center of gravity, they are much cheaper to maintain & upgrade with extreme durability
Ford can't even make a GT500 engine
the block is from honsel in germany, the rods are manley & pistons are Mahle, ALL AFTERMARKET SUPPLIERS, meaning even isuzu can make the same motor
this makes the motor very expensive and since 2013 5.8L can;t be rebuilt according to SVT engineers, look to spend $30k when your engine is worn out, which will happen fast @15psi boost
have you ever seen a top fuel dragster in this century with OHC, NOPE!
