    Maybe I'm missing something here but the article says "Ford Motor Co. is recalling 3,037 vehicles, including the 2013 Ford Explorer. The affected vehicles were manufactured from July 19, 2011 through March 15, 2012". How is it possible that a 2013 Explorer was manufactured before March 15, 2012 ?

    No idea, I guess Ford thought it was a brilliant idea to sell the 2013 model late in 2012 by building the cars early in 2012.
