I love my 2012 xB; it is tall and spacious, comfortable, fun to drive, and economical. I also love the convenient, easy to read, center mounted gauges that are not ever blocked by the steering wheel. The only downfall is the poor sounding sound system; despite good 'specs', it never sounds right - and I don't want to mess wit some after factory nonsense.
I would consider updating to the next model if is an even better CUV - hopefully with some truly high-end sound system options, JBL or Bose or otherwise.
I just saw the 2015 xB. Don't see a lot of them around? Thinking about getting one. I am trading in my Van, don't need all that room anymore. I think it will be a good car for us baby boomers!!!! Just need to know how it is going to be on the pocketbook down the line?
We looked at one last year, thinking of downsizing from our full size van. Wasn't too impressed. Too trucky or something, not enough creature comforts. The dealer did have some manuals in stock so that was a plus.
Scion should just fold in with Prius and all the dealerships should become Prius shops.
I've heard some grumbling about reliability not being up to the usual Toyota snuff, but don't recall where (JD Power?).
