    Is there another country on Earth that gives its' domestic auto manufacturers less respect than the US? Even the Russians probably give Lada some home field advantage.

    I kept looking for a page 2 to this writeup. The subtitle reads "Huge Variety," and there are. But there are only four listed here. The CRV is the "obvious choice?" What about the Escape, which is the other obvious choice? How about more premium options, like the Q5, X3 or Evoque? Maybe the Rav 4 somewhere?

    This review seems irresponsibly slapped together and incomplete.

    I wish Edmunds wouldn't publish these shallow little puff pieces anymore. We used to get track test videos and videos of the Lexus LFA V-10 barking madly during downshifts on the dyno. Now we get this instead. Good God.

    I don't see how the Kia Soul fits here.

    It is not a compact SUV.

    It is about the same size as a Sonic Hatchback (slightly taller)

    The Kia in this category is the Sportage not the Soul
