    If there's any electric car that could be successful, it's this one. If only they could bring down the price (and I don't mean with smoke and mirrors like on the Tesla website). If this exact car was below $50k, I could stretch the budget a little to give it real consideration as my next car purchase. And the thing is, I *want* to consider it, but the price is prohibitively high.

    If you're taking an EV out for the first time, why wouldn't you take a moment to familiarize yourself with something as vital as the charge port?

    Thankfully, my Leaf uses a simple hood-release-like lever to pop the nose cover. No touchscreen required.

    You can also press the button on the plug and the charging port opens. Slightly more convenient than using the touchscreen...
