    Hey Dan, so even with those modifications, you find it comfortable to drive the Jeep for a few hours at a time?

    I'm pretty immune to the Jeep's ride. Last year I drove from LA to wine country, then from wine country to Moab, then from Moab to LA. Check a map - that's a huge triangle. No problem. I'm in the process of driving LA to Moab and back once more.

    It's nothing approaching buttery smooth, but it does well on asphalt highways. And it goes down the road straighter than you'd think for such a short wheelbase. The Mopar 3-inch lift actually has great roll stiffness, so it corners well, too. Seats are OK, but I do need to stash my wallet in the center console. I've done several 10-hour stints in this beast and have not once emerged crippled.
