    Good article for parents. However, keep in mind that safety features are for AFTER the crash; ABS Brakes are the only item that can help PREVENT a crash. Learn how to use the ABS, as well as slower speed "threshold" braking (before the ABS kicks in).

    Also, carefully review your state's GDL laws...they vary greatly. Florida, for example, only requires a 4-hour Drugs, Alcohol and Traffic Education test prior to getting a permit! Even then, it can be done online.

    Driving is, quite simply, the most dangerous thing your teen can do, and that includes active combat in the military. As the old song said, "Teach Your Children Well"

    My teens will only get a Honda, Toyota or Subaru because I love them.
