The black plastic vents all over our long-term 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray are very noticeable, unless you buy it in the right color.

I wonder if the lower rear fascia was painted body color if it would improve the look on lighter colored cars or make the @ssend look too big? I agree that the contrast of all that black plastic is kind of ugly.

I just saw my first C7 on the road, my neighbor bought a Laguna blue one. I do like the green but would probably get the dark grey or black.

All those black accents are the least attractive element of the new 'Vette. I am amazed that Chevy doesn't offer an extra cost option to get them body colored. If I bought a Corvette I would immediately have a body shop take care of this for me.

Besides, dark green is just the best color, period.

    Black wheels still suck.

With due respect to John Heinricy..."All Corvettes are red...the rest are mistakes".

The new Vette only looks good in dark colors, and I agree with bankerdanny that these off color elements look terrible on light colored cars. I am sure that over the next year or two, those bits will be changed to body color as "updates" to make the car look newer, ala the Avalanche progression.

Also, agentorange could not be more correct: black wheels still DO suck.

+1 for the C7 in dark colors. Seeing the black accents on white ones is quite a "shock". While the green would be my 2nd choice, I've got to go with Crystal Red Metallic. So sweeeeet . . .

I’m not a huge fan of the way this car looks in green. Laguna Blue, on the other hand, looks great!

From looking at pictures, I would have to say that Cyber Gray might be the best looking color on the new Corvette. Of course, I would have to see all the different colors in person before casting a final judgment….
