    It is indeed very wide. My wife has already scratched the front bumper backing out of a parking spot and turning too soon. And I accidentally rubbed up against my other car parked in the driveway. I'm glad they now have the parking sensors, wish it was an option when I got mine.

    It was partly for this reason that my 2014 new years' resolution will be to park as far away as necessary in order to have no one around me in parking lots when I get my Model S in the Spring. This has the added benefit of providing me with a modicum of exercise, while also reducing the possibility of door/bumper dings and curb rash on the car.
