    My 99 F150 is surprisingly quiet in fact in some ways I wish it wasn't so cut of from the rest of the world.
    A good example is that a police siren coming towards me can only be heard if the A/C and radio are off and even then you can only really hear it at 300-400 ft.

    When not in my truck I can hear the sirens from about half mile or more so my cab is very air tight and seemingly well insulated.
