I work with a 60 year old lady who loves her base Verano and she is used to pickup trucks. So being well under 50 years old I didn't know if the Buick Verano Turbo would be enough for me. After 1600 miles the first week on vacation with the 6-speed and cannot say enough positives about it. The seats are amazingly comfortable, cabin noise is almost non-existent, handling is crisp, brakes are phenomenally stout with little peddle pressure required and easily modulated. Fuel economy at 60 mph on the highway is right at 40 mpg which makes little sense to buy a car luxury car with a battery. I rented a LaCrosse thinking the big brother would be better at least in some areas but was let down with only a better ride from the longer wheels base.
