My bud got his taco with the s/c on it. The blower was put on at the -- not sure what they call it. Its the place where they put on things like cruise, bucket seats, upgraded wheels, and stuff like that. The place where the trucks go in between the factory and the dealer. Anyway, that's where he was told that the charger was installed. Like it matters anyway - the warranty is still there no matter where along the Toyota line it is installed. Likewise, that charger is just as compatible with the 3.4 as Nissans blower for the 3.3. What difference could there be -- the 3.3 charger has boost turned way down to eliminate ignition. Anyone who wanted to end the threat of combustion/ignition on the TRD blower (the only problem I have heard of) could simply turn boost down, like the Nissans do. Just my $0.02.

the dealer said that if I found the car on the lot I wanted (except for having cloth interior), they could install the leather for the same price as it would be direct from the factory.

How is this any different than the Tacoma's supercharger?
