    There's a surprising amount of space in there. Can you imagine a wagon version of the Passat? According to VW's EU websites, the Passat Variant (Wagon) has 37% more cargo space. That would be so perfect for those that regularly need to move large objects but have no need for serious payload capacity or towing. Yes, I know, wagons don't sell here blah blah blah.... Here's a wishful though, maybe the proliferation of cool compact hatchbacks that we're seeing will eventually lead to a re-appreciation for wagons.
