Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? As long as you are willing to accept the lower mileage and the slight increase in vehicle size a truck is hands down one of the best vehicles you can own and will hold its value long after your cheap sedan as broken down in to a heap of scrap steel.----------------------
Of course people are going to say that you don't need the extra bed space or the big motor or the lift kit but what the vast majority of nay sayers forget is that the average life span of the pickup is measured more often then not in decades and not a handful of years and in that time you WILL run it to large loads, you WILL run in to hauling something that requires brute power, and you WILL run in to that storm of the century that dumps god knows how much snow that only you with your lift kit and massive tires can even hope to get through.---------------------------
Be prepared is a point lost on so many but when it comes to vehicles a properly equipped truck will take you far. Of course the Silverado in this case as I have said before is not properly equipped. PLEASE WILL SOMEONE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE WALL OF TEXT WE ALL SUFFER UNDER!
