    I think you mean 184 ft-lb, not 284. That would be the 4% increase over the 2.5's 177.

    So well known for their TDI engine. Still missing in the Tiguan. Won't miss the 2.5 as I've never been an inline 5 fan. Honda/Acura didn't make a good one either. That leaves Volvo as the only one holding on to the odd cylinder count.
