    I saw one in the flesh last week. The back looks as bad (i.e. WAY to similar to the Camaro) in person as it does in photos.

    I love Nashville. Great photos.

    "We're winging it on locations, just looking for the coolest, most colorful brick and painted backgrounds we can find" --- " A girl in Daisy Dukes, boots and white cowgirl hat walks over " --- um, duh

    "I'm still not feeling the rear shoulder grilles, though. I know they're functional, feeding air to cool the transmission fluid and differential, but they have a whiff of aftermarket, like taillight louvers. " And that is exactly why fake grills and vents are worse than other stylistic flairs. The fake ones take credibility away from the functional ones. I don't mind artistic flourishes with design, but trying to make something look functional when it is purely for design is not OK.

    There goes the most bummed-out valet in the city. but after all that talk about a burnout photo, you omitted the photo (I think it may have appeared in an earlier post???).

    Are those seriously the tailpipes? Who approved that? What customer focus group said "hey, those look GREAT!"?

    Those are a show-stopper. 100%.

    @dunning

    Of all the other controversial things you could've picked you picked the tailpipes? No problem with the parallelogram taillights? The front hood louvers? Hmm...

    My man, it has four tubes all lined up in a row in the middle of the car. It looks like a diseased horizontal rocket, or a missile with a personality complex. Plus I didn't know how to spell louver.

    I have to agree with dunning- the masked-villain rear end doesn't look that bad in real life (I think it looks pretty cool... maybe I'm still 16 at heart), but the gun turret exhausts all lined up are cheese-tastic and gives the masked-villain a serious case of bad teeth.

    You know... come to think of it... the rear end reminds me a lot of Jake, the Corvette mascot.

    +1 to Dunning and Duck. 4 exhaust tips fall afoul of my rule against form masquerading as function, and are over-the-top gaudy, compensating as well. Twin center pipes, or even one big center exhaust port as so many exotics do these days would have looked

    I agree - that looks cheesy. It's a V8? Dual exhausts, please. Spend the extra $$$ on something that'll make it go faster.

    This was enjoyable to read; reminds me of the good old days of "InsideLine".
