    Is there an automatic option with the 1.4? I think this looks better than the Countryman and more practical than the Juke. How is the size relative to the Soul, which I see a ton of around Chicago?

    I love that the rear end is practically verticle rather than the space wasting slant that you see on so many CUV's and small wagons these days.

    Interesting little jeep - I would caution to call it off road worthy (uni-body). Will this be the FIRST FWD Jeep offering? Tiny little engines! Starting @ $20K...? Let us assume that's the FWD, 1.4. I'm going out on a ledge here, AWD with the larger engine and a few option packages, leather, closer to $25,000 +....

    @taco the compass and the patriot are both fwd so no its not the first fwd jeep

    Thanks bassrockerx - I don't follow jeep all that much, good info! I only go with RWD or 4WD.

    It has an upright, squared off body like the long-lived XJ Cherokee but somehow Fiat managed to make it look like a toy version of either the Kia Soul or Nissan Cube. Who do they test market these designs with? Are they old enough to drive?

    Chrysler needs to seriously reconsider the design of the front grill of all their Jeep models. Right now this Renegade looks more like it should be called the "Jeep Aztek". Redo the front and it won't look too bad...
