The BRZ is a fun car to drive, but now at this price, it would be best for any buyer to consider waiting for the EVOS spec next gen Mustang, or just pay a little more and get a WRX. I would understand the price if the 2014 model put out closer to 250 HP and 250 + ft lbs.

Excuse me, what? People should hold off on the BRZ now because the price went up only $125?

Also I don't get people comparing a relatively lightweight RWD coupe to a portly AWD sedans or FWD hot hatches as if it's only logical to 'step up' from that two door coupe and pay a bit more for the AWD sedan just because it has more power. You know you really don't want that $15 piece of grilled Seabass, get the large $20 pizza because you might as well 'step up' to more calories. Ugh...

I really wish people that make their auto buying decisions like this just took the bus.

Anybody that gets this car with an automatic should be punched in the face.

@akula - The BRZ was already priced too high for the base model, and I'm not comparing an already existing solid rear axle Mustang, but a Euro inspired upcoming Mustang with a possible 2.3 liter Turbo, 3.7 liter and of course 5.0 liter and finally an IRS.

"why would I go to Ruth Chris to get an over priced New York strip, when I can go to a local Italian steak house and pay the same for a grass fed home grown porterhouse. [non-permissible content removed]!"
    ____________

Because grass fed is tougher? And a Porterhouse is just a strip steak, a bone and a little bit of tenderloin?
