    Where my 09 civic could go 350miles on a tank full I like that the C can do over 400 on less gallons. I don't like when the blinking empty light comes on and you only have a gallon + left in the tank. That just doesn't seem like enough safety margin. Have read on the prius forum
    of people running out and having to be towed to the dealer to restart.

    they do have a gas gauge too and I'd guess probably a range
    till empty display. Have we really gotten so bad that if a light doesn't flash at us we don't notice anything?
