    Good wrap-up. I only wish you had given us a quick update some time since the last post of July 29. I've been wondering what happened to the vehicle. The 23K miles attests to its popularity with the editors. Impressed that the mileage met EPA, and the resale value. Dan's adventures in Nevada I think were a highlight of the long term experience.

    How does such an ugly car get to be so popular? The CR-V is so ugly it could be French.

    The introduction didn't have a price paid, so I'm guessing it was loaned by Honda. That means there will not be a real world sold price.

    No one is a bigger Honda fan of Honda than me; I currently own three not including my several pieces of Honda power equipment. But the fact this vehicle does not offer collision warning on the front or rear, and no lane change warning, in a 2014 is a deal breaker. When the Nissan Rogue and Kia has it this vehicle should too.
    The same applies to the new RDX.

    Performance and looks are not up to date. I recently test drove a Ford Escape and everything except the navigation system worked twice as good. The 1.6L turbo engine far surpasses that of the Honda's. It also gets better mpg.
