    I'm very skeptical about manufacturers' claims of high mileage from putting undersized engines in larger cars. Maybe grandpa driving to church on Sunday with his turn signal blinking the whole way will hit those mpg numbers. Drive it anything like normal, though, and you'll be wringing the engine pretty hard. There goes the presumed fuel economy.
