    I take the 3 most aggressive quotes and let each one know that the lowest gets it. Of course they have to be on the exact model with exact equip. And I start the process by phone call first so they feel like they now have a serious buyer to communicate with. I always thank the two losers as well !

    I'm looking for an antique pickup, but want a long-bed (4x8). Anybody know the first such truck in the US?

    Step 1 should be:  ask yourself if you REALLY need a pickup or can you rent one for the 2-3 times a year you need it.
