    This is a total chick car - it's today's Cobalt or base-model Jetta. 80% of the ones I see have curbed wheels and something shiny dangling from the rearview mirror.

    Those cubbies can be a total curse too, as there is a tendency to keep clutter. My wife's car always has the cubby filled, and the cupholders are filled with odds and ends. Whenever I drive it, I find myself organizing and cleaning before I can even turn the key. My car has no cubby, and is pristine. My wife wonders why I don't clean the house with the same enthusiasm (to which I have no answer!)
