    What you actually mean is that they're just cheap.

    I don't think lack of detents necessarily equates to cheap. I've seen HVAC controls in cheap cars that have detents. I think what lack of detents indicates is poor decision making when it comes to controls ergonomics. I still say a three-knob setup, with one for fan speed, one for temp, and one for mode setting, is the best.

    Who needs auto climate in a car that small. I prefer the set=up on the Premium rather than the Limited. It has detents you can feel.
