You just have to learn to pack a box truck correctly. Loading one correctly makes it hold more than you would ever believe it would hold, plus nothing slides, tips, spills or breaks. I don't know any 20-something that that truck in the photo would not move in one trip.

Having moved our best friends three times in two years, with two moves also being while the wife was pregnant, I have two observations: 1) as Fordson said, small items are no problem in a Uhaul if you pack the thing strategically. However, cars are great for tossing in all the last minute stuff that the movees we using up until the move and had not packed, and needed to put somewhere so the Uhaul could be returned on time. 2) The correct compensation is beer AND pizza. And you get to pick the toppings.
