Good lord, this thing is just hideous. It's like luxury boy racer gone berzerk. I just cannot imagine putting this car side by side with a 3 Series, C Class, A4, S60 or G37 and thinking it's attractive. I'm almost embarrassed for Lexus. And that interior belongs in the FR-S.

The way Lexus is trying to "sportify" its lineup by starting with designs with the excitement of a bar of soap, then adding tacky doo-dads to them is like Ellen Degeneres in high heels and a mini skirt.

This is redesign is conservative for you? REALLY? Not sure if some people will ever allow for Lexus to be anything other than conservative in their mind. I personally am not even sure if I like the design because of how radical it is. To each his own I suppose.

Just showed it to my brother. Usually doens't like the looks of lexus and likes this one. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

After waiting 2 yrs for this redesign I must say at first look I'm not impressed. I took a second look and even less impressed, which is a shame. I'm not sure who they are trying to appeal to with their zippy exterior and less than impressive interior. I'll take a close look in the showroom but before I soend $45K, i'll be looking at other options, which includes keeping my current IS.

Nice interior but the exterior is a miss. The front lights are so awkward and the LEDs under them look like Nike swooshes. The front bumper is too busy and the Predator grille is not particularly attractive. The rest of the car looks like someone took the current IS and added some bodykit for SEMA. Lexus is trying to move away from boring/bland designs but somehow this car just looks 'cheap' and tacky.

That interior looks fantastic but does anyone see Scion tC sedan in the exterior profile? I don't think it looks bad, but not fantastic either. I still generally dislike the spindle grill.

isn't conservative suppose to be a bad thing? i think the new design is a hit and is a big step forward then the outgoing model

And I was really looking forward to this car, but I knew they'd eff it up in some little way or another. The rest of the car is nice, predictable, but nice.

Maybe it's better in dark colors.

What is it with the Japanese?? They have no imagination when it comes to production models. What a boring looking car. It looks like they tried to take a cue from Audi with the angle of the C-pillar but it doesn't look right on this car. What a let down. Hopefully the upcoming Infiniti Q50 will show some style, although Infiniti and Nissan seem to be going in the wrong direction with the G/Z cars.

Well, I like what I see.

The interior seems a little busy. I suspect the reflection from the side vents will show on the outside side mirrors. Very, very annoying. That was my experience after recently testing a new Altima.

Overall the new exterior design is refreshing compared to the look of other Lexus models.

I would have to disagree and say the interior looks to have a fairly good design for this segment. Of course I'll reserve full judgement until I can get a closer look at the materials used.

But the exterior is an absolute mess. I don't mind the look of the new GS and even the ES but the design theme on this car was taken way too far! The front is pretty much a joke. I imagine this car will not age gracefully.

Interior looks great. I like the carry over if the instrument cluster from the LFA. As for the styling, I have to see it in person. It looks like a baby GS.
