    My concern is LONG TERM durability? Is there an over ride system if they fail (Stuck closed?) can I raise the hood and open them manually? I don't want to be in the middle of no where with "Stuck grille shutters in the closed postion" of course I would tear the grill out if they failed and was in the desert. Is there a warning light if they fail, or do you just watch the temp gage rise higher and higher? Just say'in....

    This is just the tip of the iceberg. Imagine an active aero system that morphs the entire car body to be the most aerodynamic shape for a given speed.

    This is just getting back only some of the aerodynamics lost to pedestrian impact regulations, which eliminated the sloped hood, which was probably the single most important thing you could do to lower drag
