    When you consider the standard equipment you get with the IS compared to the slightly less expensive German counterparts it is no longer more expensive but quite a bit cheaper. I have run build your own programs from each site and the IS is actually significantly cheaper to get the features you would expect and want in a luxury sport sedan.
