    Clearly that looks like a crew cab variant, but a sizable rig for something under full-size. If you truly don't need the capability of a full-size, this might be a nice option. Especially considering that the majority of buyers don't purchase a pick-up out of true need.
    Diesel option sounds intriguing. Better economy & excellent torque.

    IMHO GMs failure with the Colorado/Canyon was not due to them being smaller than the Tacoma, it was that they reeked of cheapness. They also somehow managed to foul up the 5-cylinder motor making it a rough wheeze-box. I've driven other 5-pot vehicles and they were fine, so it was all GM. I think it is a shame that there is not a truly small pickup on the US market.
