    I wonder how much of this is due to the change to those continental tires on the retro styled wheels...

    Check the tyre pressures. Some "helpful" person may have bumped the pressures right up.

    Did anyone else notice that Edmunds reverted to the old style of InsideLine?! As for the noise, you have two choices if the tires are indeed the culprit. You can either change the tires for some that have a good reputation as being quiet, or you can try to sound insulate your wheel wells. For the latter, I've heard of people spraying a couple of coats of truck bedliner in there. I'll also recommend Second Skin's "Spectrum Sludge" if you're (or anyone else) is really serious about it.
